HER Description

NEHL - Adjacent to Esh Winning FC's football used to be a bowling green and tennis court, complete with its own pavilion. They were opened around the 1920s or 30s, though there is scarce reference to either in contemporary newspapers.

Both, and the pavilion were still in situ in the 1950s, implying all were closed towards the end of the 20th century.
