NEHL - Pallion was home to two football grounds in the 1940s in a newly developed area east of the Saturn Works and just north of St Luke's Road. This ground was the easternmost, and featured a small clubhouse on its south eastern corner and an unusually shaped boundary - liking occupying the vacant space around the new developments.

There was a few football clubs in the 30s. There was Pallion and Pallion Villa primarily who likely occupied these grounds. Do to their proximity, it's quite difficult to assess who played where. Industry soon swept over this area.
