NEHL - There is very little detail on this football ground apart from the illustration on the 1916 Ordnance Survey map. The ground existed from either 1900s or 1910s and was quite austere. It featured a small clubhouse on its southern end as well as what looks like a small shed on its entrance at Ashley Road. No detail can be sought on who played there and how it looked.

Thanks to @wood21_ for informing me South Shields Parkside played at Ashley Road in the early days of the ground.
