Percy Main Amateurs FC

HER Description

NEHL - This field was used for sporting purposes from at least the 1920s, when Percy Main FC established this as their home ground. As Percy Main AFC were established in 1919, it was likely at the same time. Percy Main Amateurs were one of a number of teams playing in the area - Percy Main Methodists and Percy Main Athletic were also playing in the local leagues.

In the late 1930s, the ground had its own pavilion on the south west end. It has since been demolished, though the ground is still home to the same team.
