HER Description

NEHL - A tennis court stood a few metres west of St Mary Magdalene's Church at least by the 1910s until at least the 1940s. The ground can be seen on the Ordnance Survey maps from both the 1910s and the iteration surveyed in 1939 on a patch of open land in the west of the village.
