Ludworth Golf Club (1908 - 1930s)

HER Description

NEHL - A 9 hole golf course was founded on this site in 1914 by Ludworth Golf Club, who were themselves founded in 1908. It was opened by a Mr Robert M White, with the club totally a membership of 50. The course closed in the mid 1930s, though it cannot be ascertained as to why.

The course is labelled on Ordnance Survey maps from the 1910s, though no distinguishing features are illustrated except a footpath from Ludworth to the course.
