HER Description

NEHL - Holliday Park nr Langley Moor had been council owned land pre-1930s, but was developed as a recreation ground in this decade. Provisions such as tennis courts, a bowling green and a putting green were developed here. There was pavilion at the bowling green, as well as a smaller hut adjacent to the tennis courts.

It appears the area fell into disuse by the 1960s, with aerial imagery showing a lack of maintenance at this time. A newer public park has since been constructed in the area.
