South Park Bowls Club (1896 -)

HER Description

NEHL - Though the park has existed since at least the 17th century, the bowling greens first appear on maps in the 19th century. It is home to the Darlington South Park Bowls Club who were formed in March 1896. There were originally two bowling greens. The east green has now been repurposed, but its boundary is still recognisable.
