NEHL - The Belle Vue ground was Consett AFC's home stadium after two seasons at the Eden Colliery Welfare Ground until 2013 when they moved to Delves Lane. The team had to find a new club after Consett Steelworks booted out the club for expansion.

The ground was built largely by volunteers and had banking around the pitch from nearby mine workings which was still visible until its demise. Two stands were built, one of which funded by the £1,500 transfer for Tommy Lumley to Charlton Athletic. The first game played at the ground was against Sunderland Reserves, with 7,000 attending the game.
