Chester le Street CC

HER Description

NEHL - For a short period Chester le Street CC played on a field adjacent to Red Rose Hall on the High Street before moving to its current location in 1866. At this time the terrace didn't exist and there very limited facilities. A building can be seen on the 1862 map on Ropery Lane however it is impossible to tell if this was used as a pavilion of a club house.
