Chopwell Strangers (?)

HER Description

NEHL - Maps from the 1940s and photo evidence shows a cricket/football ground adjacent to Chopwell Colliery. It is taken from a high vantage point indicating a colliery cooling tower, though has no cricket markings indicating it was taken out of the crocket season. It's not possible at this point to understand which teams played at this ground, though it was likely colliery workers.
