HER Description

NEHL - A football ground was constructed here around the 1940s, as per contemporary maps of the area. This is following a football ground just down the road at Pavilion Terrace which closed around the 1930s. There was a pavilion on its western side, with a path coming from the old ground and Holmside Lane.

The home club is unknown, and may have been used by local amateur teams.
