Leazes Park, Tennis Ground
4 Jul 2022
Shown on Ordnance Survey second edition.
NEHL - The tennis court looks to have been in Leazes Park since its inception. There are no facilities here in the 19th century except a small clubhouse across the footpath and a urinal. Nowadays, it is just a recreational green.
