Description (or HER record listing)

NEHL - Two drift mines were found in a field just west of Carrmyers Burn near West Kyo. It is likely they were linked to South Derwent Colliery as footpaths adjoined both the drifts to the Carrmyers Shaft to the west. There are no ground facilities and no auxiliary buildings. Both are not visible today.
