Description (or HER record listing)

A loose cluster of approximately 7 coal pits are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery. They appear as pits, mounds of spoil and pits with collars of spoil. These coal working sites are located in the fields to the north of North Choppington. These remains appear to be cut by post medieval narrow ridge and furrow.
