Description (or HER record listing)

NEHL - A small drift mine was located north of Toft Hill Hall in the late 19th to early 20th centuries. There was little in the way of facilities - a small building in the centre with a small reservoir, a shaft to the north of the complex and a drift connected by railway south east and an air shaft in the east. It appears there was an entrance building also.
