Description (or HER record listing)
NEHL - A coal shaft was in situ through the 19th century north west of Kimblesworth Village. The 1860s Ordnance Survey nay show these shafts though it is difficult to guage whether they are the same shafts. There is a chance it was used for ventilation for nearby Kimblesworth Colliery.
