Description (or HER record listing)

NEHL - A small drift mine operated by the wider Cornsay Colliery could be found in this location. It was just off Ragpath Lane, and was linked by a wagonway with the Colepike & Forth Drifts about a mile north. This was the smaller of the two, with a small pit pond and building just east of the horizontal shaft.
