Description (or HER record listing)

NEHL - There were at least 3 pits associated to Lands Colliery in the area. This appears to be the latest iteration of the 3, not appearing in the 1859 map. It was connected by tramway to Ramshaw in the 1870s/80s though was disused by the 1890s. There were a few auxiliary buildings and a modest pit heap and pit pond.
