Description (or HER record listing)
NEHL - A coal shaft stood on Holmside Lane after the 1850s and disappeared in the early 20th century. This shaft may have been related to one of the collieries at Burnhope. The Fell Pit opened in 1893 which sounds like the most likely relationship.
