Description (or HER record listing)

NEHL - A small drift mine associated with Broomhill Colliery could be found at East Chevington through to the 20th century. The drift was not connected via rail, and was likely a second shaft or exit for the larger complex north at Broomhill. The land has been reclaimed for agricultural use.
