HER Description

NEHL - This field was used firstly as a cricket ground then used by Sherburn Hill United throughout the 20th century. The use for cricket was for a short period. The pitch did not have any discernable facilities, and was likely marked out using rope.

Thanks to East Rainton CC for the info.
