HER Description

NEHL - A series of football grounds could be found at what is now Elsington Park in Gateshead. There were 4 in the area on both sides of the railway and the River Team. Their exact use and who used them is unknown, but aerial imagery does show they were used for football. It is likely amateur sides used these grounds.
