Chester le Street CC

HER Description

NEHL - Chester le Street's first cricket ground was reputedly on a field just off Ropery Lane where the bypass is now constructed. It was part of the Crown Farm estate, though unfortunately I have not been able to find the farm in question. The club remained here until they moved to site adjacent to Red Rose Terrace in the mid 19th century.
