Description (or HER record listing)

NEHL - Situated just west of Cowsley Row is one of the countless drift mines which operated as part of the large scale underground workings at Hedley Hill. This was one of the drifts that continued operation into the 20th century, with many around it already closed. There doesn't appear to be any above ground trace today.
