HER Description

NEHL - A sports ground can be seen on contemporary maps from 1939. By the 1940s, aerial photos show the football ground was still in use as goal posts can be seen. There is a chance it was used by sunday league or amateur football teams in the aream. The ground seemed to have only lasted a couple of decades until redeveloped.
