Coal Workings, Cuddys Wheel
3 Sept 2021
8 Sept 2021
Description (or HER record listing)
Three pits are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery. These pits are located close to the pit known as Cuddy's Wheel and are likely to be the remains of post medieval coal workings. These features appear to cut medieval ridge and furrow.
